IDEX Binoculars
Even after being delivered for the first time at IDEX 2020, our IDEX binoculars have become iconic.
Sketch N Build was commissioned to design and build the 12 x 18m pair of binoculars to match the overall feel of one of the world's largest defense shows. The brief called for the piece to be interactive and eye-catching, and SNB delivered once more!

The Layout
Since the project was an enclosed space, special consideration had to be given to elements such as lighting and a high quality, reliable ventilation system that would be housed and hidden within the structure.
The Production
The project was confined to a small area which is why lighting and a high-quality, dependable ventilation system required special consideration.
The binoculars were outfitted with a variety of LED screens, seating areas, and graphic walls commemorating IDEX's history.
The build is still praised for its finish quality and overall experience.
