MBR Creative Sports Awards
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award recognizes athletes, teams, and organizations that have made significant contributions to sport in the UAE and around the world.
The award ceremony, which was attended by royal family members as well as global sporting superstars, was expected to meet Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's high standards.
The event was a huge success for both our client and SNB, as we were able to showcase our craftsmanship and innovation in the award and televised live event space.

The Layout
The 75m wide stage was the main attraction of the award ceremony. Accessibility was prioritized in the design and manufacturing processes as the MBRCSA also honored people of determination for their outstanding contributions. The stage was tapered all the way around to ensure a smooth and elegant design appropriate for the occasion. This was made possible by extensive engineering design changes, load calculations, and testing in our Dubai warehouse.
The Production
SNB's scope also included multiple rigged elements and logos. These were made of metal framing, MDF cladding, and gold laminate to match the brand guidelines and the rest of the spray-painted and laminate pantones.
A large number of digitally mapped projectors and an 85-meter curved screen had to be accommodated on the stage as well. The floor was finished with a custom carpet and recessed LED strip lights that were router cut.
Sketch N Build was also in charge of break-out areas that included stages, catering stations, and seating throughout the event area. These were mostly made of MDF and finished with high-quality spray paint and graphics.
